On a summer Sunday at a modest beach house on Rome’s coast, a mosaic of lives converges: a women’s basketball team rehearses, two sport‑obsessed soldiers spar, two men arrive with their girlfriends, a priest hides a secret, an elderly couple cares for their pregnant granddaughter, and an engaged pair hopes to share their first night together.
