Aboard they encounter a secret German Nazi officer, Lt. Dungen (Vernon Dent), and mistakenly attack a torpedo they think is a beached whale, which promptly explodes. After days lost at sea they board the German ship SS Schicklgruber, now sporting beards, recognize Dungen, seize the vessel and dump the crew overboard.
