Ten‑year‑old prodigy Chiyo Mihama struggles to fit into high school alongside classmates five years older: the absent‑minded Osaka, the hyperactive Tomo, the athletic Kagura, the hot‑headed Yomi, and the shy Sakaki, who adores animals despite their indifference. With the occasional guidance of their laid‑back homeroom teacher Yukari, the group shares a series of quirky daily adventures and navigates the amusing ups and downs of school life.
