Avalanche Sharks

Wade leads a desperate mission up the mountain to locate his missing brother Shredder and their friend Hucker. They push through the powdery ridges, scanning for clues while danger lingers in the cold. The quest sets the tone for a mountain-wide nightmare that may defy explanation.

At the lodge, Madison pleads with ski patrolman Dale to organize a search and rescue. Dale hesitates, delaying action as fear and disbelief spread among the guests. The lack of immediate help heightens the sense that time is of the essence.

The old man Duffy crashes the gathering with a guttural prophecy that doom awaits them and sharks lurk in the snow. Dale tries to eject him, but the sense of dread lingers in the air. His warning foreshadows a threat that few want to acknowledge.

A teenager named Ross wanders into the woods and is murdered by a shark that seems to rise from the whiteness of the snow. The scene shatters any remaining skepticism and proves the danger is real. The town's fragile calm begins to break.

The next day Wade and Madison press onward to search the mountain, while Ross’s cousin Carol and a teen named Randy join the effort. They widen the search area and comb the same terrain for clues. The group's resolve grows even as peril intensifies.

The group witnesses Barb being dragged away and eaten by a lurking shark. The horrific sight confirms the predators’ reach and intensifies the panic. Fear drives the survivors deeper into the treacherous landscape.

Mike bolts away after witnessing the danger and runs into Wade and Madison. He realizes the threat first-hand, but is killed in the spill of fear and fins. His death compounds the group’s urgency to escape.

Carol and Randy recover Ross’s goggles and, burdened with sorrow, retreat to town with the grim evidence of the nightmare. The group regroups as the town begins to confront the crisis. The earlier disbelief fades in the face of tangible proof.

Sheriff Adam contends with Duffy's outlandish claims and arrests him, while Diana reveals that these sharks originated from a long-ago Native American chief who erected protective totems. Disturbing the totems is implied to have reopened ancient magic. The town begins to understand the true source of the nightmare.

Adam and Diana venture out hoping to avert tragedy, and instead they stumble upon Wade and Madison followed by two enormous predators. They race toward the police station as Carol arrives with the others. The town's leaders scramble to respond while the danger remains immediate.

Duffy is released after a failed hunt and meets a fatal confrontation born of his spite. Wade must confront loss as Jenna is saved, only to be claimed by the shark’s jaws. The night deepens the sense that they cannot outrun what they’ve witnessed.

Wade, Madison, and Diana seek shelter in Dale's truck while the women escape a cabin ahead of an avalanche. Wade fends off a lethal bite, and then an Asian woman on the mountain begins aligning the crooked totems, restoring balance and turning the threat to retreat. The survivors drive away into the snow-crystal night, and the framing device looms as a reminder that some of what happened may be myth.
