Ashes blurs the line between reality and fiction, leaving viewers questioning what actually happened. The story revolves around Gokce, who becomes obsessed with a manuscript titled "Ashes," written by a mysterious author named Duygu Akkaya. As she immerses herself in the story, she begins to believe that the events and characters are based on true people and real experiences. Driven by her dissatisfaction in her own loveless marriage and her longing for passion, Gokce seeks out Metin, a man she believes to be ‘M,’ the romantic figure from the manuscript.
