An American portrait told through three intertwined vignettes that explore life in a small‑town setting. One follows a man and his ex‑girlfriend as he tries to foil a terrorist plot. Another tracks an uncle attempting to bridge the emotional distance of his niece after her parents’ death. The third follows a wealthy businessman who discovers he has no Black friends and strives to rectify that. Together the stories examine isolation, connection and the search for redemption.
