The plot follows two attractive Swedish women on a Yugoslavian vacation. Maria Liljedahl’s character is depicted as a metaphorical champion of promiscuity, bedding men and women in great profusion. The film also turns its focus toward film reviewers and directors, and Variety observed that its inherently strong visual and physical qualities are dissipated by the director’s cynicism, ennui, and convoluted intellectual mirror tricks.
