On an Alpine farm, a couple raise Belli, an aspiring teacher, and their son Franzi. After Franzi throws an expensive mower off a cliff in rage, his father sends him to the farm’s edge, where he follows the “Irascibles” rite. Belli visits, they begin a relationship, and in winter Franzi returns as Belli becomes pregnant, forcing the parents to learn.
