Each summer, young Salomé returns to her family's village in the Portuguese mountains for a holiday. The carefree atmosphere shifts when her beloved grandmother unexpectedly passes away. As the adults grapple with family tensions surrounding the funeral arrangements, Salomé finds herself increasingly disturbed by the presence of what seems to be her grandmother’s spirit, a woman who was once considered a witch within the community.
