Jan Oxenberg’s raw, politically charged and witty short uses six vignettes to celebrate the American lesbian experience of the mid‑1970s indie scene. By playfully subverting stereotypes—such as the “Stompin’ Dyke” and butch‑femme couple—it counters the myth of the humorless feminist, reclaiming those labels as comedic weapons on her own terms.
