Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves

Edgin Darvis was a dedicated member of the Harpers, a renowned organization focused on maintaining peace in the realm. His commitment to justice is tested when his wife becomes a victim of a plan orchestrated by a Red Wizard he had previously captured.

After his wife's death, Edgin teams up with Holga Kilgore, a fierce barbarian, to forge a new life for themselves and Edgin's daughter Kira. They decide to embrace a life outside the law, gathering a motley crew including Simon, an amateur sorcerer, and the cunning rogue Forge.

Edgin and his newfound allies execute a daring raid on a Harper stronghold, aiming to steal the Tablet of Reawakening, which he believes can bring back his wife. Unfortunately, their plan is thwarted, and they end up being captured while their other companions manage to escape.

After two long years of imprisonment in the icy fortress known as Revel's End, Edgin and Holga devise a plan to escape. Once free, they discover they have been pardoned without their knowledge, which shakes their motivation and plans.

Back in Neverwinter, Edgin learns that his former ally, Forge, has taken control of the city. He finds out that Forge has manipulated Kira into believing that Edgin's ambitions caused his imprisonment, deepening the family's rift.

As the story unfolds, Edgin discovers that Sofina, his mysterious ally, is actually a Red Wizard who had colluded with Forge to orchestrate their capture. This betrayal sets the stage for a tense confrontation aimed at bringing an end to Edgin and Holga’s lives.

Determined to clear their names and recover the Tablet, Edgin and Holga hatch a scheme to rob Forge's vault during the High Sun Games. They enlist Simon's help, aimed at both recovering the tablet and proving their innocence to Kira.

To gain insight into the vault's magical defenses, Edgin and Holga seek the help of Doric, a druid whose community is suffering under Forge's logging operations. Doric cleverly transforms into a fly, allowing her to sneak inside Forge's castle.

Realizing they need a powerful relic known as The Helm of Disjunction, the group travels to a graveyard to consult Holga's ancestors. With Simon's talents, they briefly resurrect the dead, gaining clues that lead them to a paladin named Xenk Yandar who possesses the helm.

Xenk agrees to assist the group on their mission, guiding them through the treacherous Underdark. Along the way, they face off against deadly Thayan assassins sent by Sofina, and narrowly escape an encounter with a massive red dragon named Themberchaud.

As they contend with the power of the helm, Simon struggles to control its magic, prompting the group to finalize plans for their vault heist coinciding with the chaotic games. Their efforts are complicated when Sofina, disguised as Kira, betrays them, leading to their capture.

Despite the betrayal and their capture, Edgin’s group manages a daring escape and uncovers Forge's plot to ship stolen treasures. They spring into action to rescue Kira, who Forge is threatening, showcasing teamwork and bravery.

Unbeknownst to the heroes, Sofina has orchestrated the High Sun Games to attract a crowd for a sinister purpose—using a dark curse to turn the populace into an undead army. The heroes must act quickly to prevent this catastrophe.

The group devises a plan to distribute the treasures across the city using hot-air balloons, intending to save the citizens from the impending curse. They face imminent danger as the crowd's fate hangs in the balance.

In a climactic battle, Sofina retaliates, leading to a tense confrontation. With Kira's newfound courage and Doric's transformation into an owlbear, they ultimately defeat Sofina, though victory comes at a price for Holga, who is gravely injured.
