Nitobe and Sakamoto, lifelong friends, work at the reception desk of a capsule hotel. Nitobe is fascinated by philosophy and crustaceans, while Sakamoto grapples with suicidal thoughts. The hotel’s diverse clientele includes a Finnish mother searching for her missing child, a woman on the run, and a researcher studying tiny freshwater crustaceans.
