This documentary explores the groundbreaking work of “Els 5 QKs,” a group of amateur filmmakers active in Barcelona during La Transición. In 1975, Alfonso de Sierra, Luis Escribano, Ramón Massa, Ces Martí, and Enric Bents created a transgressive filmography that challenged social, religious, and political norms. The films boldly placed gay characters as heroes, portraying them with pride and defying conventional morality. Luis Escribano and Ces Martí, the only surviving members of the group, reflect on their creative process and the impact of their forgotten films on the city.
