Driven by a childhood dream of space travel, Dario has spent three decades building a moon rocket on his farm in the Veneto countryside. This ingenious but challenging individual constructs his rocket using applied rocket science and a do-it-yourself approach, sourcing components from local hardware stores. An initial launch attempt goes awry, resulting in a damaged cornfield and Dario’s arrest. His brother Mario arrives from Rome to help, and unexpectedly, Italy’s secret space program is inadvertently launched.
