Leo, an Italian living in Slovenia, and Vučko, a Bosnian refugee, find themselves in desperate need of money to renovate their restaurant. Unable to secure a loan, they reluctantly agree to a shady deal with Gianni, a con man, who tasks them with stealing his truck. A mistaken identity leads them to steal a truck filled with refugees, unexpectedly placing them in charge of vulnerable individuals. As they grapple with their situation and attempt to find a solution to their financial woes, Leo and Vučko confront their own humanity and the difficult choices they must make.
