Gul, a celebrated singer, is married to Captain Engin, a law‑studied officer deployed to Korea. Believing Engin dead, she endures advances from her violinist colleague Cemil while spiraling into alcoholism. Engin, injured in a car crash and left blind, returns, hides his blindness, and works under the name Seher, teaching piano to their daughter Oya. After regaining his sight, Engin confronts Cemil, who attempts to assault Oya; Gul intervenes, kills Cemil, and reveals herself as Oya’s mother.
