Inspired by the cult Israeli rock opera “Mami,” this film follows a young woman growing up in a struggling southern town. Working at a gas station snack bar, she’s in love with her neighbor, Nissim, who falls into a coma. Undeterred, Mami’s life takes an unexpected turn when an eccentric inventor rewires her brain, propelling her to media stardom. She then creates a satirical circus and launches a new political party, shaking up the status quo.
